Top Hat - Aldwych Theatre, 17th May 2013

The group all met in the foyer of the theatre, this was a snug experience.
We all had excellent seats in the stalls  rows C and D, fantastic views of the stage.
The lights dropped and we all settled down to see the show.

Shades of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, the dancing and singing were excellent.
The ladies costumes where classy and very reflective of the era. Everyone had their favourite item and there were quiet a few to choose from.

Everyone was very enthusiastic during the interval and looking forward to the remainder of the show.
The dance routines were exceptional, the singing was engaging and the humour was catching.

There was particular interest in the beach scene in Venice, nothing to do with  the skimpy outfits on the males chorus.

It was soon over and we all made out way to the underground home.

This is a well recommended show to see.

Our next outing to be decided, but Top Hat has set the bar high.
